3. Data collected on this website

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically faultless presentation and the security of this website. Log data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar beginning with „https://“.

Getting in touch

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we process the details you provide solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Please note: WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, a Meta group company. If you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is transferred there; processing on servers outside the European Union cannot be ruled out. If you would rather avoid that, please write to us by email or call.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the site is called up, Vercel processes the server log data listed above. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing this website securely and reliably.

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. As the provider is based in the USA, data may be transferred to a third country. Such transfers are based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR and on Vercel’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a service from the same provider, to see which pages are called up. Recorded are the page visited, the referring page, the country, and the device type, operating system and browser.

The service sets no cookies, does not access your browser’s local storage, and does not build profiles of individual visitors. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in recognising which content is in demand. What is said above applies to the transfer to the USA.

Besides page views we count six events: the click on a booking link to the schleiblick.de portal, the click on the property page there, the clicks on the email and WhatsApp buttons, the click on „Check availability“, and the click on „Start the tour“. What is transmitted is only the name of the event, the language version of the page, and which of our pages the click came from.

The event name additionally carries the suffix „-ads“ if you came to us via one of our Google ads. Google appends an identifier to the address of this page when an ad is clicked. We read only whether such an identifier is present; the identifier itself is neither transmitted nor stored nor combined with other data. This lets us see whether an ad leads to an enquiry, but not who you are.

Here too, no cookies are set, no local storage is accessed and no profiles are created; no link to your person is established. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in recognising which content actually leads to an enquiry.

Page speed measurement

We also use Speed Insights from Vercel. The service measures how quickly the page loads during actual visits. Recorded are the page visited, technical measurements of the page load, and the device type and connection type.

This service too sets no cookies, does not access local storage and creates no profiles. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in detecting and fixing loading problems. What is said above applies to the transfer to the USA.

5. External services

Google Maps

In the „Location“ section we offer a map from the Google Maps service. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The map is not loaded automatically. Instead you first see only a placeholder taken from our own photographs. A connection to Google is established only when you explicitly click „Load map“. Until then no data whatsoever is transmitted to Google.

By clicking you consent to the data transfer; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In particular your IP address is transmitted to Google and may be processed on servers in the USA. Your consent applies only to that page view and can be withdrawn at any time by reloading the page. Further details are set out in Google’s privacy policy.

360° tour

In the „Tour“ section and on the virtual tour page we offer a 360° walkthrough of the house. It is provided by the photographer who created it and delivered from that photographer’s server at linsenspektrum360.de.

The tour is not loaded automatically. At first you see only a placeholder taken from our own photographs. A connection to linsenspektrum360.de is established only when you explicitly click „Start the tour“. Until then no data whatsoever is transmitted there.

By clicking you consent to the data transfer; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In particular your IP address is transmitted to the provider, who may also set cookies of their own. Your consent applies only to that page view and can be withdrawn at any time by reloading the page.

Availability calendar

The availability calendar shown on this website is retrieved exclusively on our own server and delivered to you ready-made. No connection is made from your browser to the booking system while you view the page, so no data about you is transmitted there.

Booking via schleiblick.de

The booking itself is made through the schleiblick.de portal. You leave this website only when you follow one of the booking links; from that point the portal operator’s privacy policy applies.

Google Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts, which are embedded locally. No connection to Google servers takes place.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to us:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise them, please contact the controller named above.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Irrespective of the above, you have the right under Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.

7. Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and does not access your browser’s local storage. That also applies to the audience measurement described under „Hosting“. A consent banner is therefore not required.

An exception arises only if you explicitly load the map in the „Location“ section or the 360° tour: Google, or the provider of the tour, may then set cookies of their own. Without that click this does not happen.

8. Status of this policy

This privacy policy is dated September 2026. Further development of this website or changes in legal requirements may make it necessary to amend it.

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
